Edgepark is a member in good standing of the Calgary Real Estate Board Multiple Listing Service plus numerous other real estate industry associations and in doing so is required to comply with all By-laws, Rules and Regulations and Codes of Professional Conduct as set out by those associations.

Company President Dan Turner is a career REALTOR since 1974 and is highly educated and experienced in real estate. He has served as a Director of the Calgary Real Estate Board and Chairman of the Commercial Committee and attained a variety of real estate designations from having embraced continuing education throughout his career. Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada

The Fellow of the Real Estate Institute (FRI) designation signifies the highest level of continuing education available through the Real Estate Institute of Canada for Canadian real estate practitioners. In all of Canada only 2,500 people hold this designation. To achieve the designation requires that each candidate hold a valid real estate license with at least five years of credible real estate experience. In addition, each candidate must have completed specific real estate courses through Canadian universities, covering all practical and theoretical aspects of the Canadian Real estate industry. Special training includes Canadian Real Estate Law, Real Estate Investment Analysis, Real Estate Valuation, Ethics and Business Practice etc. I attended night courses at the University of Calgary for 5 years before receiving my designation in 1981.

Certified Commercial Investment Member

The Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors in the United States confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Certified Commercial Investment Members demonstrate exceptional levels of real estate knowledge and experience. In fact only 4 percent of all commercial real estate practitioners in North America hold this most coveted and respected designation in commercial real estate. To obtain this designation the candidate must complete graduate-level curriculum totaling 200 classroom hours, document professional transactions showing the application of the real estate concepts and investment analysis techniques such as the time value of money taught in the various courses plus pass a day long comprehensive exam.
